You Capture: Black & White

Yea! I'm so excited to be able to do "You Capture" once again. The theme for this week is "black and white" so I had fun with some of the pictures that we have been taking over the last couple of months here in Africa.

Bridging the Gap

The Beauty of Culture
This sweet little orphan boy claimed my lap as his own.

But my girls were not having any of that, so they climbed on as well.
Our family by Lake Victoria
We are doing well here in Kenya, missing friends and family, but praising God for what He is doing everyday. If you want to see more Black and White photos, cruise on over to "You Capture" at I Should Be Folding Laundry.

What did you capture this week?

  1. such lovely shots... what an amazing moment... loved the bridging comment!

  2. Amazing what you're doing! Enjoy the opportunities the Lord gives you :)

  3. Amazing photos. I love your family photo. :)

  4. How powerful. Thanks for sharing. With Joy, Carey

  5. These photos make me a little nostalgic for Botswana. I'm not sure what it is like in Kenya, but I was constantly awed by how open and welcoming people were to you (very different from the reserved attitude of Germans!) Lovely pictures
